WCHfH serves families who have sufficient income to pay a 30-year, interest-free mortgage and give 150 hours of “sweat-equity” labor per adult family member to the project. To learn more about the qualificaiton and application process, please visit https://www.habitat.org/housing-help/apply 

Since its 1992 founding, WCHfH has built/refurbished 36 homes for families in Burr Oak, Calmar, Castalia, Decorah, Freeport, Hesper, Ossian, Ridgeway, and Spillville.

WCHfH is one of 1,500 Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the United States and the only one in Northeast Iowa.
